Tiled Hall Cafe Ceramic Mug by Phil Ankers

Enjoy the splendour of our Tiled Hall from the comfort of your own home with this ceramic mug inspired by our Victorian Cafe. Pair it with our North Star Tiled Hall Coffee Blend for the ultimate experience. 

Exclusively designed for Leeds Art Gallery, these ceramic mugs by Phil Ankers are inspired by the beautiful colours of our Tiled Hall Cafe. Each piece is hand thrown in his home studio in Leeds.

Each coaster is made from MJ Originale, a stoneware clay originating from the Burgundy region in France. Being stoneware, the pieces have been fired to ~1250 degrees Celsius and are fully vitrified (non-porous). 

Hand wash recommended. Not dishwasher safe. 

Colour and shape may vary due to the handmade nature of these items. 

About Phil Ankers

Phil Ankers is a ceramicist based in Leeds. Working for his home studio, each piece is thrown by hand before being fired at Sunken Studio near Leeds Dock.
